- ➤ Thieves stole exercise equipment and training gear from a Mexican national soccer team truck at an Oakland Coliseum parking lot late Sunday or early Monday over Labor Day weekend — police are investigating the auto burglary while the team prepares for its friendly match against Japan on Saturday night.
