- ➤ Residents in East Oakland have long dealt with unsafe and unsanitary conditions from a homeless encampment that began in 2020 and grew over five years. - ➤ BART restored service on Saturday after crews fixed a power problem that forced single tracking in the Transbay Tube and temporarily closed the Red and Green lines—full service returned about an hour later. San Francisco Chronicle
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Bay Area doctors now advise adults 50 and older to get vaccines for pneumonia, RSV, flu, shingles and COVID-19 to help prevent serious illness and maintain independence.
