- ➤ County supervisors voted on Tuesday to allocate over $1.4 billion from Measure W funds to address homelessness by supporting shelter, housing, and vital services. The board set aside 80% of the revenue—about $170 million per year—for these initiatives and may add up to another $120 million if extra funds become available. KTVU
- ➤ The Alameda County Board of Supervisors approved the $125 million sale of a 50% stake in the Oakland Coliseum on Tuesday, July 23, letting Oakland Acquisition Company advance plans to redevelop the aging 112-acre site into a mixed-use complex—residential, retail, entertainment and sports facilities. The deal must close by June 30, 2026, and the redevelopment project is projected to cost $5 billion. KTVU
