Residents in Rockridge worked with the Oakland Department of Transportation to study speeding and craft a 29-page plan with ideas to slow traffic—OakDOT said it will test a 90-day diverter pilot to see if it can reduce dangerous speeds.

The plan and pilot come after many community meetings and data collections to address concerns about cars cutting through the neighborhood.
