- ➤ An Oakland man was arrested in Vallejo on suspicion of battery on a firefighter and assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly threw a rock at a fire engine carrying firefighters, striking one on the head and requiring medical care (identified as 46-year-old Alakemenlee Siaplay) as law enforcement used aerial support to locate him.
