- ➤ Volunteers from Urban Compassion Project cleaned a trash-filled area off San Pablo Avenue in West Oakland on Monday afternoon & helped residents report illegal dumping that had plagued the neighborhood. Founded in 2021 by Vincent Ray Williams, III, the group has removed over 2,300 tons of waste and now works with the city & community groups to address further dumping. KTVU

- ➤ The FBI offered a $10K reward for tips on finding Heaven McGee, a 21 year old Oakland woman who disappeared in January and is believed to be a victim of human trafficking in Stockton — officers said multiple searches guided by cell phone data are ongoing and community tips remain crucial — as the investigation continues. - ➤ The Michelin star awards for Bay Area restaurants were announced Wednesday evening, marking a shift as Sonoma's Enclos earned two stars and Oakland's Sun Moon Studio became the city's second Michelin-starred restaurant.
