- ➤ Cal State East Bay held its weekend commencement on Friday but did not include three Think By The Bay special education students who did not earn a degree. Kristin Vogel-Campbell said all students should feel included + a petition calling for their inclusion gathered over 700 signatures. ABC7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, Oakland fire stations are all open for the first time in over 20 years — a measure designed to boost preparedness for wildfire season. Interim Mayor Kevin Jenkins said a $2.5 million boost from the Coliseum sale and Joint Powers Authority funds keep 25 stations running until June 30 — while Station 10 will reopen after renovations are complete.
