- ➤ Oakland Promise celebrated its 10th anniversary Thursday evening by honoring 1,600 Class of 2026 scholarship recipients and 8,600 past awardees. The nonprofit in partnership with the city has awarded over $40 million since 2016 to help young people attend college and vocational programs. KTVU
