Good morning, Oakland.

Oakland’s First Fridays festival may end after sponsors pulled support.

Festival director Vanessa McGhee (of nonprofit KONO) said new backing is needed to keep celebrating local art and culture, while Mayor Barbara Lee noted incidents occurred after the event ended.

Oakland's Brother's Deli & Co now offers a chopped sandwich with diced ham, turkey, bacon, provolone and mayo for an even taste in every bite.

Customers can also request their fillings diced on any build-your-own sandwich at (2700 Park Blvd).
