- ➤ Oakland police said a man attacked an employee and a shopper with a shopping cart at Won Kee Supermarket in Chinatown on April 10th after an employee asked to inspect his bag (surveillance footage showed the graphic assault) and they are asking the public for help identifying the suspect. ABC7

- ➤ On Saturday, a sustainability event at Thrive Center focused on upcycling sneakers to reduce waste and promote a greener future.
