- ➤ Two Oakland police officers helped save the life of a robbery victim who was shot during a Montclair call just before 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday—after applying pressure to his abdomen and using a tourniquet on his legs—and a juvenile was arrested nine hours later with multiple guns recovered. KTVU
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Scientists from The Marine Mammal Center and the California Academy of Sciences found two dead gray whales in San Francisco Bay this week—one near Angel Island State Park on April 2 and another at Fort Point Rock Beach on April 4. Necropsies will determine if vessel collisions are to blame as boaters are advised to slow down and report sightings. KTVU
