- ➤ Oakland-based donation platform Flipcause owes nonprofits more than $29 million and is set for auction on Mar. 3 as its bankruptcy trustee seeks a buyer to take on existing contracts & help repay funds. Nonprofits will learn today if their agreements will transfer. Oakland Voices

- ➤ Oakland’s Lunar New Year Parade will celebrate culture in Chinatown Saturday. Organized by the Oakland Chinatown Improvement Council, the event will feature cultural performances and vendors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along a larger route starting at Wilma Chan Park — drawing thousands to support local businesses. - ➤ Construction finished on 10th Street in Chinatown to improve safety for kids walking and biking to school near Lincoln Elementary School. The project includes repaving, curb extensions and a protected bike lane (part of the Safe Routes to School program) and was completed Wednesday. ABC7
