- ➤ Oakland's Lodge on Piedmont Avenue will reopen under new ownership in March or April. The bar will offer a food menu and daytime lunch service with extra seating, plus it will be family-friendly until 8 p.m. when it returns to its regular bar hours. San Francisco Chronicle

- ➤ Netflix renewed the San Francisco-set comedy series Man on the Inside for a third season nearly three months after its second season premiered.
